Leo our amazing Gymnast
On the 15th and 16th of October, Leo did Walton Hall extremely proud as he represented his gymnastics club in the London Gymnastics Festival. Leo worked exceptionally hard as he practiced with his team for his first live performance. His performance on the day was outstanding and it has been lovely for Leo to share his experiences with the staff and students at Walton Hall.
Leo has been a valued member of Spartac Gymnastics Club in Ormskirk Lancashire since early 2019, and he is now a member of Spartac Display Team. Spartac Gymnastics is a part of the Active Therapy Foundation Charity and is an inclusive community for gymnasts of different ages (7 to 41) and abilities.
In addition to this, Leo was also selected to perform with the Spartac gymnastics club at the Gymnastics World Championships that were held in Liverpool last week. Leo is a valued part of the Spartac gymnastics display team and he performed excellently at this special event in front of a large stage.
As a result of his hard work and commitment, Leo has been selected to travel to Amsterdam with Spartac Gymnastics to represent Team GB at the World Gymnaestrada '23. This is absolutely fantastic and a huge achievement for Leo. Wow – this young man is unstoppable!
