Welcome from the Principal Amanda Cameron
Walton Hall is situated in a rural setting just outside of Eccleshall in Staffordshire. It is a unique academy with extensive grounds and outstanding vocational resources that make the “Walton Hall Experience” of education a very special one. We have a dynamic community of 140 learners with a dedicated, creative and forward looking staff team and Academy Council. Walton Hall caters for students with a wide range of additional learning needs. Our curriculum is focussed on development of the whole person and preparation for adult life. We aim to develop confidence, competence and independence but above all, we value citizenship, respect, positive contribution and the highest possible aspirations in education and adult life for all our students.
We work closely with parents and carers as through collaboration and partnership we can strive to support the students to become the best they can possibly be. In addition to a vibrant and enriched curriculum that is tailored to student’s needs (from pre entry to GCSE and BTEC) we offer a range of outstanding vocational and life skills learning opportunities through our residential provision, independent learning unit, school farm, commercial garden centre, professional recording studio, media suite, forest school and motor vehicle department.
