FOWH events - What's happening?

Our FOWH committee take time to plan many events throughout the year to raise money for additional resources or experiences that will enhance learning for all students. In 2024 – 2025, the funds raised were used for the following:

• A stylus for every student was purchased to enhance their work on their iPads.
• Several air friers were purchased to enhance cookery lessons.
• More animals were purchased for the school farm.
• A contribution was made to the new radio station to support the school developing their kit so the students can stream live.

The experiences that are provided by our FOWH committee are always excellent and thoroughly enjoyed by students. They enable students to have fun, interact with others and develop their independence skills. The committee take the time to talk to the students so that they can get to know what it is that they want to enhance their learning.

This group of volunteers are valued by all. They contribute to many aspects of the Walton Hall Academy life.
