What do we do?
At Walton Hall Academy we believe that for each of our students to grow and achieve their full potential, both academically and socially, their good attendance to school is essential. We work closely with our students and their parents and carers in alignment with our attendance policy, which promotes early interventions; nurture and wellbeing support; clear steps for declining attendance and positive recognition for both good and improved attendance.
How do we do it?
Why do we do it?
So that our students flourish in their adult lives and are better able to reach their full potential both academically and socially. Better attendance will help our student to develop a better sense of belonging to a community, increased personal fulfilment and overall improved lifelong opportunities.
Attendance at Walton Hall is higher than the national average for specialist settings which positively impacts on the achievements of all our students.
