Residential
Welcome and Admissions
Residential Education provides opportunities to experience an educationally supportive environment where the aim is to further develop social skills, independent living and support the general health and well-being of our students.
This has a positive impact on their education and lifelong learning, increasing resilience and future success. If you would like further information regarding residence, then please contact the school office on 01785 850420 and ask to speak to Head of care (Chris Frid).
Demand for a stay in residence can be high, therefore applications are presented to our admissions panel who take time to consider applications carefully before final approval is granted for an initial 6 month period. Young people’s individual needs, abilities, pace of emotional growth and learning underpin all the work and learning we undertake in residence. Therefore, following the 6 month placement an additional 6 months may be granted in order to promote further learning and development.
For more information, please see our Admissions to Residence Policy and Residential Statement of Purpose on the Policies page. You can read our Residential Ofsted Inspection report on the Ofsted Report page.
